2010 Design and Honor Awards

The AIA Jacksonville Design and Honor Awards Program is the method by which the Jacksonville, Florida Architectural profession honors members, advocates, and industry participants to encourage excellence in architecture, to elevate public consciousness of good planning and design and to recognize those whose work or advocacy enriches the built environment. Design and Honor Awards are bestowed upon members and participants who have contributed to the advancement of architecture, urban planning, art and craftsmanship.

This year our Design Awards jury includes a tremendous and large group of fellow Architects led by Frank Harmon, FAIA, an Architect who has won more AIA North Carolina Design Awards for his work than any other firm in the state.

On-Time Registration & Payment Deadline for Design Awards Late Registration & Payment Deadline for Design Awards ($15/entry late registration fee)	March 26, 2010 April 8, 2010
Deadline for Submission of Entries and Nominations	April 15, 2010
Winners Notified	April 26, 2010
Design & Honor Awards Gala  including Juror Lecture	May 21, 2010

Registration: Please register online and pay via credit card by April 8, 2010. Once registered you will be assigned an entry number(s) and be provided with the information necessary to submit your project. This information will be sent to the email address you provide during registration. If you prefer to pay by check, you can print the Entry Form from the link to the right and mail it along with a check to:

Design Award Submissions: In an effort to be more sustainable, keep the process simple and expedient and coordinate with the process in place for state submittals all submissions will be composed in the appropriate PowerPoint template and submitted online this year.

NOTE: All design award submissions are to be anonymous. Identity information should only be included on the Concealed Identification Form and the Entry Form. For Honor Awards, complete the Honor Awards Nomination Form. For Linda Mack Award and Test of Time award nominations, please provide appropriate graphic examples, pictures, documentation or other supporting information as available.
